Dr. Marina Tourkova - Medical Director of the Center of Revitalizing

After graduation from Medical School at Lugansk (Ukraine) Medical Institute and receiving her MD
degree, Dr. Marina Tourkova worked for 18 years at the Lugansk Regional Psychiatric Hospital in
Ukraine. She progressed there from a Staff Attending at Substance Abuse Unit/Rehab Program to
a Unit Chief/Assistant Professor at Acute Psychiatric Unit. After coming to the U.S., Dr. Tourkova
initially worked as a Therapist/Counselor with geriatric population and then entered a Psychiatry
Residency Training at Westchester Medical Center/Behavioral Health Center, Valhalla, NY. She
completed PGY I-IV there and then a required Curriculum in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at
Psychoanalytic Institute at New York Medical College. Then Dr. Tourkova completed PGY V at
Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship Program at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center of New
York. She is a certified Geriatric /General Psychiatrist.
Dr. Tourkova is a Medical Director of the Center of Revitalizing Psychiatry, P.C., Hackensack, NJ,
which performs psychiatric services at several locations of New Jersey.
